Compensation and Benefits Expert


NN Insurance Hungary – market leader in life insurance – is offering an opportunity for a talented professional to join NN Hungary’s team as a Compensation and Benefits Expert. Your tasks will include the development, implementation and management of an effective, competitive and attractive compensation and benefits strategy in line with global and local policies and legislation. Additionally, you will support HR administration and the operation of the integrated HR system within the company.


  • Support HR administration processes in line with the local legislation and Hungarian Labour Code
  • Take part in the processes of STA and LTA programs in line with the corporate policy; manage employees with work assignment or student contracts
  • Handle the integrated HR system, keep up-to-date the data and personal records
  • Active support and help of employees during performance management process
  • Assist in the company’s FTE and salary budget preparation and follow up process; handle the department’s costs, PO and invoice management
  • Run and prepare the necessary monthly, quarterly, annual reports and statistics for different business areas
  • Support the development of benefits for employees, follow market trends, run analysis and prepare proposals
  • Prepare local policies in connection with the C&B and employee relations teams, support the company’s Rule of Operations document preparation
  • Actively participate in the set up of a well-being program

What matters to us

  • University/College degree (preferably in Economics or Human Resources)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a complex multinational environment
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative skills
  • Fluent English knowledge
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge
  • Experience in the usage of integrated HR systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with all levels within the organization


  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Controller position
  • Hungarian Labour Code and tax rules knowledge
  • PowerPivot/MS Access knowledge
  • Familiarity with Workday/Nexon system(s)
